    Warm welcoming community, staffing concerns

I placed my mom here and overall I'm pleased - the staff are caring and often go above and beyond, the community is clean, safe, and home-like with large apartments (in-unit washer/dryer), nice outdoor space, good activities, and solid family communication (especially during COVID). Meals and dining get mostly positive marks but can be inconsistent; some residents praise the food while others find it limited or uneven. My main concerns are management instability, staff turnover/shortages, occasional unhelpful or neglectful caregivers, and sporadic maintenance/amenities issues (AC, internet, transportation). For independent or mild assisted needs this is a warm, welcoming place I'd recommend; for higher-acuity or dementia care, consider other options.
