In 2017, Saint Elizabeth Home introduced a new concept of nursing home care to Rhode Island with the opening of THE GREEN HOUSE® Homes. These four homes each accommodate twelve residents in private bedrooms and bathrooms. Shared community spaces include a dining room, hearth room, den, porches, and patio, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional home. These modern homes combine the comforts of a real home with the features of a state-of-the-art nursing facility.
