    Comfortable care with occasional lapses

I had a mostly positive experience: the facility is beautiful, my bright, spacious room felt like home, the food was good, and the garden/patio and activities (karaoke, dances, dinners) were enjoyable. Nursing, therapy, and many staff (notably James, Rebecca, Carol, Angela, Brandy, Carrie, Barbara, Taylor, Dylan, Gloria and Rob) were attentive and went above and beyond with excellent rehab and caring support. I did have some communication lapses and a few cleanliness/care issues that made me cautious, so I recommend it overall but advise staying involved and speaking up.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is predominantly positive but with notable negative outliers that suggest some inconsistency in experience. Many reviewers praise the caregiving teams and therapy staff, highlighting attentive nursing, compassionate CNAs, and a therapy group that helped residents regain mobility. Several staff members and teams are called out by name for outstanding service, and reviewers frequently note that staff go out of their way to help, accommodate requests, and provide personalized touches such as a thoughtful robe gift. Admissions is described as proactive and supportive, and there are positive mentions of a quick transfer to rehab when needed.

Care quality and clinical services are generally reported as strong. Multiple summaries describe excellent nursing care, effective rehabilitation, and specific attention even for bed-bound residents. Reviewers credit the therapy team for mobility improvements and name individual therapists and CNAs who provided exceptional care. Massage therapy and other comfort services are appreciated, and staff are consistently described as attentive and caring in the majority of accounts.

Facility and environment receive many favorable comments: rooms are described as spacious, clean, and bright with modern bathrooms and home-like touches (candle lighting, robe). Common spaces like an outside garden/patio with rocking chairs are highlighted as pleasant amenities, and several reviewers note the halls are quiet at bedtime, contributing to a restful environment. However, at least one review strongly contradicts this picture, reporting dirty or stinky floors and calling the facility "disgusting," which indicates there may be variability in housekeeping or isolated lapses that would be important to verify.

Dining and activities are clear strengths in multiple summaries. Food quality is described as good, and the facility offers a variety of entertainment and engagement opportunities—monthly dances, karaoke, dinners, and organized activities managed by staff—helping residents stay socially active and engaged. Staff who manage activities are singled out as contributing positively to residents' experiences.

Management and communication show mixed reviews. Several people praise the leadership (director of nursing and administrator) and the helpful admissions team. Conversely, other reviews describe poor communication, excuses, and feeling deprioritized or hung up on by staff. These comments point to inconsistent interpersonal experiences—where some families encountered highly responsive staff and administrators, others faced frustration and inadequate follow-up.

Notable pattern and recommendation: the dominant pattern is a strong appreciation for the caregiving, therapy, activities, and facility ambiance, but the presence of a strong negative review about cleanliness and care suggests variability across shifts, units, or time periods. Prospective residents and families would likely find many strengths here—especially in rehabilitation outcomes and staff engagement—but should also ask targeted questions about current housekeeping standards, recent inspections or corrective actions, and how communication is handled (particularly during admissions and shift changes) to confirm consistency. Overall, many reviewers highly recommend Prodigy Transitional Rehab, while a minority report serious concerns, so a brief on-site visit and discussion with management about the isolated negative points is advisable before making placement decisions.
