Granite Manor, part of the Avera Granite Falls Care Center, offers a warm and inviting environment for residents in need of long-term care or rehabilitation services. The facility consists of two neighborhoods, each with 24 resident rooms designed to provide comfort and convenience. Each living area is well-equipped with amenities such as extra-wide beds, wardrobes, dressers, nightstands, TVs, and spacious bathrooms with extra-large showers.
The Care Center provides a comprehensive rehabilitation program tailored to the individual needs of each resident. Whether someone is staying for a short-term stay to regain strength before returning home or for an extended period, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy are available as prescribed by the physician for specific and intensive restorative therapy. Additionally, all residents are eligible for the Restorative Nursing Program, aimed at maintaining and improving physical function through personalized programs.
In addition to medical and therapeutic services, Granite Manor offers a range of support and activities to enhance the psychosocial well-being of residents. The Social Services Department provides assistance to residents and their families to ensure a supportive environment. Support groups and psychotherapy are available on a weekly basis, offering emotional support and guidance.
