Armenian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (ANRC) is an 83-bed, not-for-profit skilled nursing center located in Jamaica Plain, Boston. Situated on a picturesque three-acre lot bordering Brookline, ANRC offers a comprehensive program of rehabilitation with the goal of restoring residents' capacity to return home. The center's focus on excellence in long-term care is evident in its consistent caregivers and patient-centered approach, which form the foundation of their model.
ANRC's rehabilitation program encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, all coordinated closely with the resident's physician to maximize mobility and independence as quickly as possible. The center's dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists provide expert care and are available seven days a week to ensure residents receive the support they need to recover effectively.
Patients transitioning to ANRC after a stay in an acute care setting are screened to ensure the center is an appropriate placement for their needs. ANRC accepts Medicare and is an in-network provider for various insurance plans, including MassHealth. For residents unable to return home after rehabilitation, ANRC offers the option of remaining as a long-term care resident. The center's staff assists with financial applications as needed, and residents are encouraged to schedule a tour and pre-admissions meeting to learn more about the facility.
ANRC operates under the Armenian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA), a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing quality care and support for residents in need of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Contributions to both ANRC and AWWA are tax-deductible as allowed by law. With a focus on personalized care and a commitment to helping residents regain independence and mobility, Armenian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center strives to be a trusted partner in the recovery journey for all individuals under their care.
