About Silverado Berkeley

Silverado Berkeley is a specialized memory care community located in a quiet residential area just west of downtown. With three care "neighborhoods" that provide varying levels of care for residents at different stages of memory impairment, the community is dedicated to enriching the lives of those living with dementia. The amenities and features at Silverado Berkeley are tailored to meet the needs of individuals with memory issues, including a physician medical director, masters level social worker, and 24-hour licensed nurses on site.

One of the unique programs offered at Silverado Berkeley is Nexus at Silverado, an evidence-based brain health program that has shown to improve cognition and function for individuals in the earlier stages of dementia. The community also emphasizes the importance of exercise for brain health, offering activities like the Dance Club where residents can get their exercise while enjoying their favorite tunes with a dance partner.

The leadership team at Silverado Berkeley is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for residents. Administrator Jeff, with a background in nursing and psychology, leads the team in implementing best practices and protocols to maximize resident comfort and safety. Director of Health Services Sara, a Registered Nurse with over 13 years of experience, ensures that each resident receives individualized care with dignity, respect, and love. Director of Resident & Family Services Assumpta is committed to enriching the lives of families and finding new ways to improve resident care.

Family Ambassador Mac and Senior Community Ambassador Shivdeep bring their passion for senior care to Silverado Berkeley, supporting residents and families in various ways. Director of Culinary Services Mario, who joined Silverado in 2009, strives to provide the best dining experience for residents and their families. Together, the team at Silverado Berkeley works to create an enriching and fulfilling environment for individuals living with dementia.
