    Mostly positive, some issues noted

I moved my mom in and overall I'm glad we did. The staff are mostly caring, friendly and responsive, memory care and on-site rehab are excellent, and the place is clean, well-maintained with beautiful bay views and nonstop activities that keep residents social. Food is hit-or-miss, it's pricey with occasional communication, staffing or security hiccups, and a few staff seemed rude. Even so, I feel my loved one is safe and well cared for.

    About Brookdale Trinity Towers

Brookdale Trinity Towers stands at 101 North Upper Broadway in Corpus Christi, TX, and it's a continuing care retirement community, or CCRC, with several levels of care all in one place, which means folks can move in and stay put even as their needs change. The staff offers independent living for those who want to keep their freedom but let go of chores like yard work and household repairs, and then there's assisted living for people who need a little or a lot of help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or taking medicine, and the care plans for each resident get tailored to what they need, and if someone needs memory care, the community provides a safe setting, with daily routines, cognitive activities, and special dementia-trained staff as part of the Clare Bridge programs. Residents with higher medical needs can go to the skilled nursing unit, where skilled nurses and therapists provide medical care, rehabilitation, and supervision, and the services cover respite and hospice care too, so families needing short-term help or end-of-life care can rely on the team at Brookdale Trinity Towers.

The building offers both indoor and outdoor common areas where people can relax or join group activities, with amenities like a swimming pool, hot tub, resident parking, and wheelchair accessible showers and full tubs, and you'd find a beautician onsite for convenient hair care. The campus has views of the downtown Corpus Christi skyline and marina, and some private rooms are designed for upscale comfort, along with safety features like a 24-hour security system and trained caregivers ready to respond at all hours. The community runs regular social, educational, and recreational activities, both onsite and offsite, with an activities director planning things like special events and themed experiences, and regular programs like Optimun Life® and Celebrations encourage personal wellness, connection, and purpose. Residents can bring pets, attend devotional services either onsite or offsite, and enjoy fresh, nutritious meals, including special dining for memory care residents with the Clare Bridge Dining Program made by a gerontologist and a registered dietitian to help those with memory loss retain their skills.

Transportation is available either complimentary or at cost, so appointments, outings, and shopping trips can still be part of daily life. The care team works around the clock, supporting folks with anything from simple needs to regular medical care, and they're available for any emergencies. Hospice services are provided by Brookdale Hospice and include medical care as well as spiritual and emotional support and even music therapy for comfort. Brookdale Trinity Towers encourages people to stay as independent as possible, but the community provides full support whether someone is just starting to need help or requires hands-on nursing, and, since it's a CCRC, residents don't have to move if their level of care changes. Staff try to build real connections with residents and families and focus on providing thoughtful care, helping seniors age well with dignity, safety, and as much happiness as possible.

    About Brookdale

Brookdale Trinity Towers is managed by Brookdale.

Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) is the largest senior living operator in the United States, managing over 640 communities with capacity for approximately 59,000 residents across 41 states and employing around 36,000 associates. Founded in 1978 and publicly traded since 2005, Brookdale solidified its market leadership through major acquisitions including American Retirement Corporation (2006) and Emeritus Senior Living (2014), making it the only national full-spectrum senior living company. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Brookdale has topped the American Seniors Housing Association's ASHA 50 list and Argentum's largest providers list for multiple consecutive years.

The company's comprehensive care continuum includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). Brookdale's signature Clare Bridge program, developed over 30 years ago by dementia-care experts, provides specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care through two distinct levels: Clare Bridge communities for comprehensive memory support and the Clare Bridge Solace program for advanced-stage dementia residents. The program is recognized by the Alzheimer's Association® for incorporating evidence-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations and features secure environments, enclosed courtyards, Daily Path programming with six structured activities daily, and the InTouch technology platform offering personalized brain-stimulating games and therapeutic content.

Brookdale's holistic Optimum Life® wellness approach balances six dimensions—Purposeful, Physical, Emotional, Social, Spiritual, and Intellectual—implemented through signature programs including B-Fit (eight exercise class options), Brain Fit (mental fitness workouts), My Life Story (resident storytelling), EngagementPlus (interest-based connections), Growing Together (collaborative learning), and The Ageless Spirit (kindness and gratitude practices). The Embrace Family Partnership provides caregiver education and support for families of memory care residents.

The company's Brookdale HealthPlus® care coordination model, winner of the 2024 Argentum Best of the Best Award placing it among the top 1% of operators, is a technology-enabled healthcare service featuring dedicated RN Care Managers who proactively manage residents' health, coordinate care transitions, and help prevent avoidable hospitalizations. Communities using HealthPlus report 78% fewer urgent care visits, 36% fewer hospitalizations, and 63% more completed annual wellness visits. The Personal Solutions program delivers hygiene products, medications, and daily necessities directly to residents' doors with discreet packaging and monthly billing convenience.

Following a strategic divestiture of its home health and hospice operations to HCA Healthcare (completed December 2023), Brookdale now focuses exclusively on senior living operations while maintaining its position as the industry's largest operator, committed to its mission of enriching lives with compassion, respect, excellence, and integrity.
