    Neglect, shouting staff, no activities

I placed my loved one here and was really disappointed. Staff quality is poor - they shout, resident care is inadequate, feedings are often neglected, and there are no activities; residents are left outside smoking. I would not recommend and believe this facility needs investigation.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews for White House are strongly negative. Multiple reviewers highlight consistent problems with staffing, direct resident care, and daily living support. The dominant tone is disappointment and a lack of confidence in the facility: reviewers explicitly state they would not recommend the facility and express concern that it does not meet expected standards.

Care quality and resident treatment: A central and recurring theme is poor resident care. Reviewers describe inadequate feeding and express broader concerns about how residents are treated, with at least one review calling for an investigation. These comments indicate perceived failures in basic care tasks (feeding, supervision) and raise questions about resident safety and dignity. The combination of inadequate feeding and calls for formal inquiry suggests reviewers feel problems are systemic rather than isolated incidents.

Staff performance and behavior: Staff quality is repeatedly criticized. Reviewers use phrases such as "poor staff quality" and report unprofessional behavior including staff shouting. These reports point to issues with staff training, supervision, or staffing levels that are resulting in negative interactions and a stressful environment for residents. The shouting and perceived mistreatment contribute directly to the negative view of care quality.

Daily life, activities, and environment: Reviewers note a lack of activities and engagement for residents, which affects quality of life and indicates limited programming or under-resourced recreational services. There are also observations of residents being outside and smoking, which may reflect inadequate supervision or poor enforcement of facility policies. These situational details support the impression of an environment where residents' daily needs and well-being are not being proactively managed.

Management, reputation, and overall impressions: Several comments express disappointment and a sense that the facility does not live up to its name or expectations (e.g., "not the White House"), emphasizing reputational shortfalls. The accumulation of negative points — poor care, inadequate feeding, unprofessional staff behavior, no activities, and safety/treatment concerns — leads reviewers to advise against the facility. The presence of a direct call for investigation elevates the concern from dissatisfaction to potential serious misconduct or neglect.

Notable patterns and implications: Negative points are consistent across the reviews rather than isolated; staffing and direct care problems appear most frequent and consequential. While one reviewer labeled conditions as "ok," this is an outlier compared with the broader pattern of complaints. Taken together, the reviews suggest systemic issues that merit management attention: review of staffing levels and training, investigation into alleged mistreatment or neglect, improvements to meal service, and development of regular activities and supervision protocols to improve resident safety and quality of life.
