The Lodge at Roo Lan is a trusted and established skilled nursing facility located in Lacey, Washington. With nearly 50 years of experience, the dedicated team at Roo Lan Health Care has been providing compassionate care to the members of the community, oftentimes spanning multiple generations within the same family. The facility's story dates back to the late 1960s when two experienced nursing home operators, Mr. Root and Mr. Langdon, came together to open a new facility along Carpenter Road. Thus, Roo Lan Gardens was born and welcomed its first residents on October 1st, 1971.
Throughout its history, Roo Lan has adapted to the changing needs of the community and in 1974, became the first nursing home in Lacey to be licensed as a skilled nursing facility. This allowed the facility to provide temporary care for individuals with the goal of helping them return home. The Lodge at Roo Lan offers a range of services to meet the unique needs of each resident, including IV therapy, wound care, nutritional support, catheter management, ostomy care, and tracheotomy care. Additionally, the facility provides access to physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, and speech and language therapy to support residents in their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
