About Access Minnesota

Access Minnesota provides a wide range of services to support individuals with disabilities and their families. These services include Crisis Respite, which offers short-term care and intervention for individuals experiencing a behavioral or medical crisis. Transportation services are also available for individuals on a waiver or Alternative Care program who need non-medical transportation to access community activities and resources. Homemaker services are offered to assist with routine household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry to help individuals maintain their homes.

Night Supervision services provide in-home overnight help for individuals with disabilities, while Individual Community Living Supports (ICLS) offer a group of services for those on the Elderly Waiver or Alternative Care program who require reminders or a moderate level of assistance in their home. Individualized Home Supports (IHS) provide support and training for adults to live independently in their own home or family home.

Respite services are available to provide temporary care for caregivers to take a break, while Semi-Independent Living Services (SILS) offer training and assistance for individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently in the community.
