    Neglectful filthy facility; unsafe care

I had a terrible experience here: staff were untrained, rude, distracted by cell phones, and management was incompetent; the place was filthy and handled medications unsafely with no activities or resident engagement. My loved one was denied medical care, ended up hospitalized for over a week, and we filed a police report. Do not come here - this facility should be shut down.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews are overwhelmingly negative with a few isolated positive comments. Most reviewers report serious concerns about care quality, staff behavior, and management. A small number of comments describe the facility as clean, orderly, and leaving a positive impression, but these are far outweighed by accounts alleging neglect, unsafe practices, and poor oversight.

Care quality and safety: A dominant theme is poor care quality with several reviewers reporting what they perceive as active harm or neglect. Specific allegations include denial of medical care, unsafe medication handling, and at least one instance where a loved one was hospitalized for over a week after an incident attributed to the facility. One reviewer explicitly stated a police report was filed. These are severe claims that point to potential safety and clinical practice failures rather than mere dissatisfaction. The combination of alleged medical neglect, medication mishandling, and hospitalization suggests reviewers view the facility as posing a real risk to residents' health.

Staff behavior and training: Reviewers consistently mention problems with staff competence and conduct. "Poor staff training" and "staff don't care" are recurring points. Multiple summaries call staff rude or neglectful and note distracting behaviors such as extensive cell phone use while on duty. These descriptions indicate both skill deficits (training, medication handling) and cultural/behavioral issues (attitude, attentiveness). Management is frequently called out alongside staff problems, implying leadership is not effectively addressing performance or conduct concerns.

Facilities and cleanliness: Reports about cleanliness are mixed and contradictory. Several reviewers describe the facility as "putrid" or unhygienic, suggesting significant problems with housekeeping or infection control. At least one reviewer, however, described the facility as "clean, orderly, nice," creating a clear inconsistency across accounts. This divergence could indicate variability over time, between shifts, across units/rooms, or simply differing expectations among reviewers. The opposing statements on cleanliness are notable and suggest prospective families should verify current conditions in person and ask about recent inspections and housekeeping protocols.

Activities, engagement, and daily life: A repeated concern is the lack of activities and resident engagement. Reviewers indicate limited programming or staff involvement in residents' social and recreational needs, which contributes to an overall impression of neglectful day-to-day care. There is little to no mention of dining quality or specifics about food service, meaning no reliable signal about that domain from these summaries.

Management, accountability, and patterns: Management issues appear as a persistent theme, described as "terrible management" and blamed for not addressing staff issues. Some reviewers urge that the facility should be shut down and cite a police report as evidence of serious incidents. While these are reviewers' perceptions rather than verified regulatory actions, the recurrence of calls for closure and legal involvement points to a pattern of acute dissatisfaction and alleged safety lapses that families and oversight bodies would likely consider important.

Conclusions and notable patterns: The overall pattern is one of serious negative experiences centered on staff training, clinical safety (medication and medical response), and management failures, with additional concerns about attention to residents' daily engagement. Cleanliness reports are inconsistent, which raises questions about variability in conditions. Because the allegations include hospitalization and a police report, these reviews should be treated as raising potential safety and regulatory concerns. Prospective residents and families should seek up-to-date, direct verification (facility tour, staff interviews, inspection records, references) before making decisions. Current or concerned family members may also wish to request documentation about staff training, medication administration policies, incident reports, and recent regulatory inspection outcomes to clarify whether the serious issues described in multiple reviews reflect ongoing problems or isolated events.
