    Spacious elegant apartments excellent staff

I toured and immediately felt at home. The bright, spacious apartments with private baths and large kitchens are elegant-almost Taj Mahal-like-and reasonably priced. The staff (Pam the manager especially) are warm and professional, the food is excellent from top-notch cooks who accommodate requests, and there are ample activities and services-laundry, cleaning, meals-with safe, accessible grounds and on-campus doctor care connected to Beloit Hospital.

Every apartment has a kitchen with appliances for those who still like to cook, a full bathroom, a quiet bedroom, and a spacious living room, but there's also chef-prepared meals served in their dining room, and meals meet all sorts of needs, including diabetic and allergy-sensitive diets, or folks can eat restaurant-style or all-day dining when they want. The community is single-story, with walking paths and gardens outside and big, comfortable social areas inside, which is nice for bingo, arts and crafts, exercise classes, church outings, painting, baking, shopping trips, and luncheons-something is almost always going on, including offsite activities and church outings, and there are libraries for those who like to relax with a good book. The staff handles medication management, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating support, help with transfers, and help with physician appointments, and all residents have a 24-hour call system to use if they need someone quickly, and healthcare needs like diabetes care, non-ambulatory care, and incontinence care are met on-site. There's a wellness program, a fitness center, and a warm-water therapy pool for residents who want to stay active, plus mental health services from physicians. Amenities like an arts room, beauty salon, NorthPointe Spa, and laundry or dry cleaning services provide comfort and convenience, and transportation services are available for doctor visits, shopping, or other trips. Move-in coordination makes it a bit easier for families getting settled. The grounds feature quiet natural prairie and woodlands, so residents can enjoy scenic views and gardens, which adds to the calm, home-like feeling.
