    Filthy infested place, dishonest staff

I lived here and it was awful: constant infestations (bedbugs, roaches, palmetto bugs, rats) and filthy rooms, while staff ignored complaints and were dishonest. My wages were unpaid, name‑brand clothes and other personal items went missing, staff yelled at residents and I faced discrimination — then I was evicted and had to pay for a motel. Financially and emotionally ruined; I do not recommend.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews convey a strongly negative picture of Excelsior Omega Inc, with recurrent and serious allegations that span interpersonal mistreatment, criminal issues (theft), severe facility cleanliness problems, and managerial failures. Multiple reviewers describe experiences that suggest systemic problems rather than isolated incidents. The dominant themes are staff misconduct (including dishonesty, discrimination, and yelling at residents), unchecked pest infestations, theft or disappearance of personal property, and administrative actions (including evictions) that produced financial hardship for residents.

Care quality and resident treatment: Reviewers report poor quality of interpersonal care. Numerous summaries cite staff yelling at patients and discriminatory behavior, which indicates emotional mistreatment and a hostile environment for vulnerable residents. Several reviews also indicate that residents’ complaints were ignored or met with poor communication, suggesting that concerns about care and safety are not being addressed in a timely or effective way. There are also references to unpaid wages (presumably staff or contractor pay issues) which can indirectly affect care quality if staffing morale and retention are impacted.

Staff behavior and integrity: A persistent concern is staff dishonesty and theft. Multiple reviewers allege that personal items — including clothing and name-brand pieces — disappeared while other, less valuable items were left behind. This pattern of selective missing items increases the credibility of theft claims in the eyes of reviewers. Combined with reports of staff yelling, discrimination, and ignored complaints, the reviews portray a facility where staff conduct and accountability are major problem areas.

Facilities, cleanliness, and health risks: The facility is repeatedly described as having significant pest problems: roaches, palmetto bugs, bedbugs, and rats are all mentioned. These infestations point to serious sanitation and maintenance failures and create both immediate comfort issues and potential health hazards for residents. Multiple reviewers also describe generally unclean living conditions. Together, infestation and uncleanliness represent major red flags for resident safety and infection control.

Property loss and financial impact: Beyond theft and missing personal items, reviewers report that some residents were evicted and subsequently faced motel or relocation expenses. Eviction reports, combined with statements about financial stress, unpaid wages, and motel expenses, indicate that administrative actions have had tangible negative economic consequences for residents and their families. The mixture of alleged theft, eviction, and unpaid compensation paints a picture of financial instability and mismanagement affecting both residents and staff.

Management, communication, and responsiveness: Management and communication failures are frequently cited. Review summaries mention poor communication and management issues, with resident concerns ignored and problematic situations unresolved. The combination of ignored complaints, alleged theft by staff, pest infestations going unaddressed, and reports of eviction suggests systemic administrative shortcomings: inadequate oversight, insufficient resident protections, and ineffective complaint-resolution processes.

Dining and activities: The reviews supplied contain no substantive information about dining, food quality, or resident activities. The absence of comments in these areas means no conclusions can be drawn from the provided summaries; reviewers focused almost exclusively on safety, hygiene, staff behavior, and property/financial issues.

Notable patterns and overall impression: Several patterns emerge clearly across the summaries: (1) repeated claims of theft or disappearance of personal items, often of higher-value or name-brand clothing, (2) ongoing pest infestations across multiple pest types, (3) staff misconduct including yelling, discrimination, and alleged dishonesty, and (4) management failures resulting in evictions, ignored complaints, and financial burdens for residents. These recurring themes indicate systemic problems that affect resident dignity, safety, and wellbeing.

In sum, the reviews present a facility with serious and multiple areas of concern: unacceptable living conditions due to pest infestations and lack of cleanliness; alleged theft and breaches of trust; reported emotional mistreatment and discrimination by staff; and management-level failures that have led to evictions and financial hardship. There is no evidence in the provided summaries of compensating strengths such as good care, clean facilities, or positive staff-resident interactions. The overall impression is of an environment needing urgent corrective action in maintenance, staff oversight, complaint handling, and resident protection.
