    Spotless facility, compassionate staff, peaceful

I live here and I'm extremely satisfied. The facility is spotless, beautiful, and peaceful with lovely dining and living areas (piano, large TV), nice grounds and private patios. Nancy and the long-tenured, compassionate staff treat residents like family, provide attentive, excellent care and homemade meals, and give real peace of mind. Rooms are a good size with private baths - I highly recommend it (transport to doctor appointments is limited).

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: Reviews for Ingleside Lodge Assisted Living are strongly positive and consistently emphasize a high level of personalized, compassionate care delivered in a small, well-maintained residential setting. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the facility's cleanliness, the warmth and dedication of the caregiving staff, and the reassuring involvement of the owner (named Nancy), all of which contribute to a pronounced feeling of safety, respect, and peace of mind for families.

Care quality and staff: The dominant theme across the summaries is excellence of care. Caregivers are described as compassionate, attentive, and long-tenured, which reviewers link to deep familiarity with individual resident needs. Multiple reviews use family-oriented language — staff "treat residents like family" — and note that employees know residents' needs and deliver care with warmth and kindness. The owner is singled out by name as actively involved and personally credited for the facility's culture and quality, suggesting strong leadership and a hands-on management style. Reviewers also remark on consistency and dedication from staff, which supports trust and continuity for residents.

Facility, cleanliness, and environment: Ingleside Lodge is repeatedly described as beautiful, super-clean, well-kept, and almost new in appearance. Common areas are praised — a lovely dining room, a comfortable living room with a piano and a large-screen TV — and the property has attractive outdoor landscaping and private patios. Rooms are described as large and move-in ready, often with big bathrooms and private outdoor space. The facility's small size (several reviews cite a nine-resident community) is framed positively: it creates a quieter, calmer, and more personal atmosphere, often called an "oasis" or "jewel" in the desert.

Dining and services: Homemade meals and a varied menu are mentioned frequently, with reviewers emphasizing that meals are served with care and professionalism. The dining experience and food quality contribute to overall satisfaction and the sense that residents are well-cared-for. Staff responsiveness, courteous tour assistance, and the perception that services are delivered with attention and love reinforce a strong service orientation.

Community scale and lifestyle: The small, intimate scale of the community is a recurring point. Reviewers appreciate the smaller number of residents because it promotes individualized attention, a homelike feeling, and easier relationship-building with staff. This scale appears to be a deliberate draw for families seeking personalized attention rather than large-scale institutional living. The peaceful atmosphere and residential-style amenities support a lifestyle that many reviewers describe as warm, homey, and calm.

Management and reputation: Owner involvement (Nancy) and a team of long-tenured employees create a reputation of trustworthiness and reliability. Many reviewers explicitly state they would recommend Ingleside Lodge or that it is their "best option" or an "all-time favorite." Phrases such as "best kept secret in the High Desert" indicate strong word-of-mouth endorsement among those who have experience with the home.

Notable concerns and patterns: Negative comments are scarce in these summaries. The only explicit concern noted by reviewers is a lack of transportation to doctor's appointments, which may be important for families who require on-site transportation services. Aside from that single logistical limitation, no consistent complaints about care quality, cleanliness, staff turnover, food, or safety emerge from the summaries provided. Potential enquirers should clarify transportation options and outside medical appointment support during tours.

Conclusion: In sum, Ingleside Lodge presents as a small, highly rated assisted living home with strong leadership, long-term and compassionate staff, excellent cleanliness, comfortable private accommodations, attractive grounds, and a homelike atmosphere. The facility's greatest strengths are personalized attention, dependable caregiving, homemade meals, and a peaceful environment that provides families with visible peace of mind. Prospective residents and families should be aware of and confirm transportation arrangements for medical visits, but otherwise the reviews portray Ingleside Lodge as a trusted, well-run option that many recommend enthusiastically.
