The Haven is a supportive resource for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Stanislaus County. Since 1977, The Haven has been dedicated to providing a judgement-free zone for survivors, offering services such as trauma response, emergency shelter, safety planning, legal assistance, advocacy, peer counseling, support groups, and youth and community education programs. Regardless of gender or gender identity, all survivors are welcome at The Haven, including both adults and children.

The mission of The Haven is to empower individuals and drive societal change by advocating for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, with the ultimate goal of putting an end to gender-based violence. The organization strives to provide a safe and supportive environment for survivors to heal and rebuild their lives, while also raising awareness about the prevalence of abuse and exploitation in the community.
