About Desert Cove Assisted Living At Desert Hot Springs

Desert Cove Assisted Living at Desert Hot Springs is a unique resort-style campus located in the Coachella Valley. The community offers a comfortable and cozy environment with 28 spacious apartments featuring kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and private patios to enjoy the stunning San Jacinto mountain sunsets. Residents are encouraged to engage in meaningful activities through extensive programming and exercise options, such as the Silver Sneakers Program. The community also offers a Namaste Program with an emphasis on Validation Therapy to reduce unnecessary pharmaceutical interventions in residents.

The campus is designed to allow for outdoor activities, including walking, and staff are attentive to residents' needs as they enjoy the grounds. Each resident is provided with an emergency assistance pendant that is GPS activated throughout the community to alert the care team when assistance is needed. The community boasts several activity areas, including a beautiful dining room with panoramic views of the Coachella Valley, an activity room, beauty salon, massages, and Namaste program. Residents can also enjoy full-service dining with three meals daily, as well as snacks and patio dining options.

The community is LGBTQ and animal-friendly, and also offers onsite Alzheimer's support groups. Sandy Rhoades, the owner and founder of Desert Cove Assisted Living, brings a wealth of experience in long-term care and a deep respect for older adults. Heather Scott, a Licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Administrator, has been with the community since 2012 and is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care to residents.
