    Outstanding attentive care and facilities

I placed my mother here and have been very impressed by the outstanding, attentive care from caring staff like Ray and Arnell and the kind, experienced owners. The houses are beautiful, very clean and well-organized with small yards and a patio, home-cooked meals from scratch, lots of activities and outings, certified caregivers, and a medical director on site with a nurse on call. Family updates via smartphone and a rent refund helped us financially. Drawbacks: visiting hours can be restricted, there were occasional staff communication issues, and some memory-care rooms lack private bathrooms. Overall I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the review summaries is strongly positive, with multiple reviewers emphasizing high-quality, compassionate care delivered in a smaller, home-like assisted living environment. The facility is frequently described as clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the presence of medical oversight and trained clinical staff — a medical director on site, a nurse on call, and licensed/certified caregivers — which contributes to a sense of safety and professionalism. Several reviewers specifically named staff members (Ray and Arnell) and praised them for outstanding, personal caregiving.

Care quality and staffing emerge as primary strengths. Beyond clinical coverage, reviewers note staff as attentive, gracious, and experienced in memory care. The hands-on caregiving team and experienced owners are credited with structured care routines and effective day-to-day management. Family communication was also noted positively in several summaries, with smartphone updates helping keep relatives informed. At least one reviewer reported a meaningful financial accommodation (a rent refund) that helped their family, which indicates flexibility and responsiveness in certain situations.

Facilities and environment are consistently praised. The homes are described as smaller, residential, and comfortable — with private or semi-private rooms, handicap-accessible features, patios for tea, and small yards. The properties are reported as very clean, neat, and attractively arranged, creating a welcoming atmosphere compared with a prior facility that one reviewer called comatose or dull. The setting appears to support both dignity and social activity, which reviewers appreciate.

Dining and daily life receive strong positive comments. Kitchen staff are characterized as competent and the meals are described as home-cooked from scratch, with reviewers noting appetizing aromas and a wonderful cook. There are frequent mentions of on-site activities and organized outings, which contribute to resident engagement. The availability of structured activities, pleasant common areas, and outdoor spaces reinforces the impression of a life-enriching environment for residents.

Despite widespread praise, there are recurring and isolated concerns to note. Several reviewers flagged that memory care rooms lack private bathrooms, which is an important consideration for prospective residents and families weighing privacy and convenience. A few comments point to staff communication issues or restrictions on visiting hours, suggesting areas where administrative policies or front-line communication could be improved. One reviewer expressly disliked the owner, an outlier comment compared with the majority who commended the owners’ experience. Finally, the private group home model itself may not suit families seeking a larger, more institutional facility — the intimate, residential character is a strength for many but may be a mismatch for some preferences.

In conclusion, the reviews collectively paint a picture of a well-run, compassionate assisted living option with strong clinical oversight, attentive and experienced staff, attractive and clean residential facilities, and high-quality dining and activities. Prospective families should weigh the excellent staff care and home-like atmosphere against the specific practical concerns reported (notably the lack of bathrooms in some memory care rooms and occasional communication or visiting restrictions). Overall recommendations are largely positive, with multiple reviewers endorsing the facility for its care quality, organization, and welcoming environment.

Transportation gets handled with a wheelchair accessible van, and drivers will take residents to doctors' appointments and into the community for other needs. The location is close to local hospitals and physicians, which helps if someone needs medical care quickly, and there are entertainment options nearby for outings.

Members of both the Arizona Assisted Living Homes Association (AALHA) and the Arizona Assisted Living Federation (ALFA), Fletcher Heights Assisted Living focuses on providing top-quality, direct care in a warm, supportive, and nurturing home environment, always looking after residents' comfort and independence while offering the right kind of help, whether that's daily living assistance or specialized health needs.
